This part of the Be-attitudes not Do-attitudes. Being comes before doing, for what we do is always determined by who we are.

Beatitudes are not a set of rules like the 10 commandments. They have to do with our attitudes and character.

This is a passage of life blessings. It is not those who are hungry and thirsty for happiness that will be satisfied. It is those that strive for the righteousness of Christ
in their lives. The irony of this is the ones that are satisfied are not the ones that arrived at righteousness but “hunger and thirst.”

“You will have to deal with a lot of stuff, but I want the devil to know that though the storms keep raging in my life, and sometimes it’s hard to tell my days from night. There’s hope that lies from within. If the storms don’t cease and if the winds keeps on blowing in my life, my soul has been anchored…you may see me cry sometimes. Donations For The Kitchen Appliances
We have ordered the appliances for the kitchen. God has blessed us with an awesome deal. If you feel led to donate towards the appliances, please put your donation in an envelope and in the other section write kitchen or donate online.

The church is going to provide community meals once or twice a month. We will serve the families and show them the love of Christ. We were created to need each other and have companionship. This is one way we can bring light to the darkness.

Wanted Fundraisers, Artist and Contractors!!!
We are in the process of raising money to build a playground for behind the church. We have raised around $3300. If you know of a fundraiser or would like to donate, please contact Dean, Penny or Mary.
