Celebration To Honor Bonnie Harmon
November 16th after church we honored Bonnie Harmon.

We celebrated the 43 plus years of faithful service of Bonnie Harmon. She is the last remaining founding member of New Beginning Ministries (the charter name of The Lighthouse Church of DuBois). She has been faithful to the church all these years. Bonnie continued to pray for the church and everyone in the church even when only a handful of people were attending. Today she had about 12 of her own family members attend with her to honor her.

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be
tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

There will always be temptation as long as you are in your humanly flesh. Picture life as you are in the mountain range and there are paths to go in different directions. You know you should take the one path to get out, but it can be difficult. The other paths look easy and pleasant.

Once you are on the easy paths, the dangers do come. These paths eventually end in Hell.
The hard path that leads to God ends with Heaven.
